Folks,
Have you seen the new G5 iMac? There's some artwork of it on www.apple.com. It's drop-dead gorgeous! I must have one, though as Tiger is out in the middle of next year, I reckon on waiting and getting both at once.
Anyone else here planning to upgrade to an iMac G5?

I love the design too, but is it really worth waiting all those months? I have a powerbook G4 and for the money I paid in june, could have got a 20" iMac with 1GB memory and wireless keyboard, mouse and a wireless basestation as well as bluetooth. I felt a little gutted at first but in the end it comes down to use and its really down to being able to use good software. I was going to build a PC and researched components for ages but in the end opted for a mac. They're not for everyone, but I personally love the integration and simplicity. Some people love the 'options' PC users have, but having given up tickering for actually productively using software I never looked back. What the hell, buy it now and use it - that's the main thing.
