just like to say hi to all the folders out there. installed the software last night and am currently on my third wu!! thanks to tom for the article in this weeks mag. never gave folding a second thought till i read this. the problem with forums is that if you are not interested or know enough about a particular thread you tend not to read it!

Im not really a new member to the folding team, but my brother read the mag, and Toms brilliant article about folding. I got it all set up for him on both cores, (X2 4400+) and I believe he is on the scoreboard already... as Noodle. I'm racing him to 5000... Ill see if my single core donkey can beat his dual core stallion...

EDIT: I put a stick on the end of a carrot... (A slight overclock - an extra 250Mhz [formatting xp resets my BIOS for some reason])
EDIT 2: Im even typing things wrong today... **A carrot on the end of a stick**

Well I'll chuck my 2p in here too, despite all the help and posts in the other thread while I was getting everything going. Scotiawhiskers, occasional in the forums, regular at Jace D'Allisons chatroom meets. Never tried folding before, never even bothered to find out what it was. First 2 units (total about 80 points) lost due to me mucking up the console version, but help from here has sorted it and FAHview tells me I'm now 94% of the way through the second unit that is actually going to be credited to me. This ones a 120 pointer, last one was 153 so I'm flying now! Hope to be a credit to the team and to help any other newbies to the fold.

Not exactly a new member, hehe, but I've now got rig #2 up, running and folding 24/7.

Haven't named her yet, but I will do in time.

I don't expect much of a performance boost as she's a lowly Athlon 1133, but every little helps the cause.
