Sounds like a brilliant idea to me. All I need is a volunteer to look after the Dragon and you can sign me up. (As long as I don't have too far to drive). Bletchley Park is close enough, Jodrel Bank, she wouldn't let me go that far!

The danger, as I see it, is that when crunch-time comes, a lot of people could drop out. I've done this myself, so I'm not in any way trying to pass judgement. Once a date and location were sorted, would it perhaps be viable for interested parties to send in a small, non-refundable deposit as a confirmed show of intent? All done properly, of course, with receipts. Then realistic numbers could perhaps be ascertained.
I'm just throwing ideas around here -- I'm in no way acting in an official capacity.

Good idea! I'd be willing to go along with that.

Good Idea Jason, I'm up for it, was thinking about how we will arrrange transport though, all members just meet @ bletchley park or at a pre-determined location first, then move on...

Predetermined place then move on would be best IMO - some of us won't be able to get to Bletchley Park too easily (like me) unless it is literally next to a train station (no car! )EDIT: Just checked and it is right next door to bletchley railway station! So that is easy for me.. leeds - birmingham - bletchley or something like that
Cheers,
Tom

I think folks would have to make their own way (perhaps sharing transport with those living nearby). Otherwise, some people would be coming north to meet up in Birmingham then going south again to get to Bletchley. A coach trip would be nice but I can't think how that would work (not without multiple pickup points, which isn't viable).
