If Bletchley park was the final choice I could probably do some pickups on the way from Scotland, if anyone was interested.Surely there must be somewhere more interesting than the home of the concrete cows.

Chris

That could be useful - tho I doubt you'd go through Leeds

Cheers,
Tom

"Surely there must be somewhere more interesting than the home of the concrete cows."

Possibly, but where? The nature of the day out isn't yet fixed.

Another suggestion: that we get tickets for the recording of a relevant TV/radio programme?

Wow. Where's that one come from? Top idea, though. I'm struggling to think of relevant programmes, though.

And me, Jason. I did see the late great Tony Hancock in a broadcast of Hancock's Half Hour from The Radio Show in 1956. Those were the days when everything went out live. It was fantastic.

It's a shame they're not planning a 3rd series of "Time Commanders", that would have been pretty well suited.

The IT crowd would be a possibility,or the gadget show, but Bletchley still in the equation only joking about concrete cows.

Jason "time commander" similar to Rome totaL war scenario rehashing old battles, like thermopilae etc. prettty poor TV but may have been ok to play.

Tom just checked route map Leeds would add approx 9 miles to my route so lifts would be available if needed, I'm Old it ain't a trip to the Fatherland if you do not pass Scotch corner.
