Hi all, Im totally new to the amiga and have just been given an amiga a600. The system is complete except for the disks. The person I had it off  has checked and double checked and can not find the disks anywhere. Can any one point me in the right direction as to where i can download the relevant software. From what I understand I need a programme called workbench 2.0. Ideally I was hoping for a free download site as I didn't want to pay out for software that ive no idea how to use! Any help appreciated

Hi Dave C

I think it may be hard to find workbench 2.0 I think Workbench 3.0  can be used on the 600

The problem with downloading (should you find a copy) using a PC, is that you can't use PC floppy for Amiga

In saying that I think I read an article in this weeks MM about using PC to Amiga floppy disk, in the Q&A section.

www.powerc.com who advertise in MM used to do Amiga, maybe you could be cheeky and isk if they know, where you might get it?

Have a gander at these all you should need to know about your new computer.
