Hi All,

Just wondering what everybody thought of Retro Computer Mart? Be as honest as you like,

Shaun.

I quite liked it. Brought back a few memories of my early days - 'Harrier Attack' on the Vic20, that sort of thing... . Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the kind comments,

I was thinking more along the lines of;

Was the article easy to read? What could I have done better? Is there anything people particularly want from the retro column?

that sort of thing...

I know it wasn't everybody's cup of tea, but I hope that enough people enjoyed the read.

Shaun.

This means that it is coming up to Retro Mart's third birthday  - who'd have thought it?

Regards,

Shaun.

Yes Shaun. Doesn't time fly when you're having fun.

And I think you may have set a new Forum Record for Necroposting

I think the old machines are more interesting than the new ones, and I've really enjoyed the retro articles in recent issues.

Dunno if anyone else has got it as well, but I have a several years old special "Retro - The Making of..." edition of Edge magazine (with a black cover and a pink Asteroids graphics)... which I still pick up and read again and again - they basically did features on all the really groundbreaking and popular arcade and computer games from SpaceWar and Asteroids, via the likes of Chuckie Egg, Elite, Dizzy, Tetris, Populous, Lemmings, Speedball, Civilization, Sonic, S.O. Mokey Island, up to Sensible Soccer. Telling some fascinating tales of how these games came into being, from the developer's side.

...fascinating stuff, keep it coming! ...
